Fintan was archdruid of the coastal Ancalite tribe and a trusted advisor of warlord Cassibelanus. The original Owl King, he was born south of the Tamesa (modern Thames) in Britannia and was the husband of Ciniod the First and father of Aedan (The Owl). He dies before the start of the series in Belgica, fighting the Roman invaders.
Taran [Tay-ren] the Second

Taran is archdruid of the Belgae tribe born along the shores of the Tamesa (modern Thames) in Britannia. He is the little brother of Ciniod, and the biological father of her son, Aedan (The Owl).
Kelr [Kel-ur] the Cenimagni
Age 20 | He/Him | Brythonic Celt
Kelr is a tribal noble born west of the Tamesa (modern Thames) in Britannia. He is the only child of ageing Catubellauni noble Avalin the Third, and a foster brother of tribal leader Cassibelanus. He attempts to be Aedan the Ancalite’s lover, but cannot abide the young druid’s desire for fight sex.

Avalin is the sixth child and only daughter of a Catubellauni king and Trinovantian mother, born north of the Tamesa (modern Thames) in Britannia. Childless for man years, she raised Cassibelanus to manhood before having a son of her own named Kelr.
Éadaoin (Ah-doa-in) of the Bibroci

Eadaoin is the only sister of the Carbilius, tribal leader of the Bibroci, born west of the Tamesa (modern Thames) in Britannia. A druidess since her teens, she serves her tribe under archdruid Ostin the Ageless. She becomes a Roman prisoner after an attack at the Stour Reeds.
Ostin (Oh-stan) the Ageless

Nothing is known of Ostin other than that he is old and in control of the druids throughout the Tamesa valley.
Alon (Ah-len) the Second
Age 28 | He/Him | Brythonic Celt
Alon is the little brother of druidess Eadaoin and Bibroci tribal leader, Carbilius. He was born on the shores of the Tamesa (modern Thames) in Britannia. A failed druid, Alon serves as his sister’s apprentice though he does little accept tend to her personal needs. He is a Roman prisoner after the attack at Stour and becomes Castor Junius’s lover.
Lugotorix (Loog-ohto-ricks) the Ancalite
Age 28 | He/Him | Brythonic Celt
Lugotorix is a bastard son of the former Ancalite tribal leader who fathered Fintan the Owl. He was born south of the Tamesa (modern Thames) in Britannia and is chosen by Cassibelanus to represent Anacalite interests at tribal gatherings.
